Brother Alojzy Kosiba

Brother Alojzy Kosiba is called the holy almsgiver, Apostle of the goodness and of the poor. He was born on 29 June 1855 in Libusza near Gorlice. Being 23, he joined the Franciscan order. He was famous for his kindness and serenity. He died on 4 January 1939. In 1963, the process of his beatification was started in Krakow. On the first floor of the Reformed Franciscan monastery in Wieliczka, in the cell where he lived, there is a memorial room dedicated to him.
