One of the largest vineyards in Poland.

The vineyard at the foot of the Camaldolese Monastery at Srebrna Mountain in the Krakow Bielany district. This vineyard, the largest in Małopolska, covers an area of 28 hectares and was established in 2010 by wine enthusiasts from Krakow – Mirosław Jaxa Kwiatkowski and Mikołaj Tyc. The vineyard cultivates the medieval tradition of grape cultivation by monastic fathers in the 10th century, and their production takes place within the historic walls of the monastery. The best-known strains from Srebrna Mountain are Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Regent, Seyval Blanc. The well-known Polish oenologist Agnieszka Rousseau is responsible for the wine production. The vineyard is also famous for its annual production of young Swiętomarciński wine, whose premiere takes place at the Young Wine Festival that has been running for several years. Drinks from Srebrna Mountain win many awards in prestigious wine competitions and are available in many shops and restaurants in Poland. At the foot of the vineyard is a tasting pavilion with seating for up to 40 people, and there are plans for a wine shop and wine bar in the near future.
